Let’s face it: With news about road rage incidents and accidents happening seemingly more than ever, riding on the road just doesn’t feel all that safe these days. Fortunately, Cycliq is there to help cyclists be seen and record videos just in case. Yup, dashcam for bikes.

While the original Fly6, Fly12 cameras and the light combos were a huge hit, Cycliq felt there was room for improvement. So they went back to the drawing board which resulted in the all-new Fly6 CE and Fly12 CE.

Though both units’ exteriors follow closely to their previous iterations, most of the upgrades are hidden under the hood. Both the front-facing Fly12 CE and the rear-facing Fly6 CE are brighter, lighter, have upgraded 1080p cameras (including audio), plus connectivity to smart phones and ANT+ devices such as Garmin bike computers.

Both weather-proof dashcams are mounted using Cycliq’s ⅛ turn quick-release mount and a HomeSafe mode that automatically turns off video recording when the battery reaches 5% to give priority to the lights.

Here are some of the additional highlights.
