2018 marks the 50th anniversary of Eddy Merckx’s first Giro victory and the bike company the legendary Belgian rider founded is celebrating the occasion with a specially-painted EM525 dressed in pink… just like the Giro winner’s La Maglia Rosa jersey.
The EM525 is Eddy Merckx’s top of the line racing bike featuring a 900 gram frame with a monocoque front triangle, asymetric chainstays and internal cable routings for both mechanical and electronic groups. The EM525 is also available in a two versions: A lighter, stiffer Performance version, and a more compliant Endurance version.
The ITALIA50 will be available as frameset or as complete bike with Campagnolo Chorus, Deda Super Zero components and Bora ONE35 wheelset for €7,499/$9,282 starting February 15th.
