We all knew Nairo Quintana wasn’t the best time trialist and things got even worse for him Tuesday when he took a spectacular fall after fussing with his shoe (he blames his brakes).
We admire the guy nonetheless because even though he hit hard, he got right back on his bike and finished the race. A lesser rider would have called it quits.
