Every once in awhile during this year’s Tour you would hear Phil or Paul say “Oh hey, there is Frank Schlek.” Schlek finished a respectable 12th place, which is great, but that’s a long ways off from his days of glory on the podium. Some riders might decide to hang up the bibs once they start slipping, but not Schlek. He’s not ready to start down the retirement road just yet.
