Pro skier Greg Hill, who has been ski mountaineering for nearly 16 years, was recently caught in an avalanche in Pakistan and luckily he came away with just a broken leg. This is his detailed account of what happened as he got tumbled down the mountain. What’s most shocking is the short YouTube clip he’s included of himself as he checks in almost immediately after the avalanche with huge slabs of snow resting all around him.
