We start our Sexy Socks Saturday feature with a pair of socks from one of our favorite San Francisco bike shops: Cykel. The shop has been in business a couple of years now and we have always found them to be super sweet, knowledgable and accommodating. They offer a full line-up of bicycles from Ritte, Focus, Fairdale and now Shinola.
We used to time our shop visits so we could visit with Zoe Dumplin’, the wondrous, fat-headed shop dog. But ever since shop owners Nik and Rocio Pearce brought their son Matthew into the world, Zoe has had to share the spotlight.
These socks, which you can buy now, were made for the shop by the good folks at Panache. Panache also made the shop’s bomber bike kits with an ode to Zoe Dumplin’ on the back pocket. If you ever find yourself in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood, stop by the shop and say hi.
