ZOIC, yes, the very same mountain bike lifestyle brand that launched right when mountain bikes started taking off in the 90s, has just dropped a new flagship bib short liner for those long days in the mountains.
The Carbon Bib Liner shares many characteristics of a regular bibshort plus more: Brushed seamless suspender straps and leg hems, a lightweight mesh mid back panel for breathability, a seven panel construction with a bit of compression, plus a high-performance Elastic Interface chamois from proven Italian firm CyTech.
From there, ZOIC built a three-pocket flap, one of which is zippered in the back to stow items under the jersey just a bit over the waistline. There are also two thigh pockets for quick access.
My favorite feature, however, is the horizontal fly up front. No more awkward trailside fumbling when nature calls! The Carbon Bib Liner is available now in six sizes from small to 3XL for $100.
