Three-time World Champion Peter Sagan will ride #SonomaPride on Tuesday, November 28 as part of an effort to raise funds for those affected by the devastating Sonoma County wildfires in October that destroyed 6,998 structures and resulted in 23 deaths, according to CalFire.

“I love California and have been wondering what I can do to help the people affected by the fires there, so when my friends at Osmo Nutrition asked me to join The Ride For #SonomaPride, I said ‘I’m in!'” said Sagan on his Facebook page.

Two rides through burned areas are available: a 38-mile loop with 1650 feet of elevation and a 31-mile loop with 1100 feet of elevation. Both rides will have full SAG support and will be marshaled by the California Highway Patrol and local law enforcement agencies.

A party is also planned for registrants at the Trail House Santa Rosa afterwards.

The event is sponsored and organized by Osmo Nutrition, Bike Monkey, Trail House Santa Rosa, and Sonoma Pride, a non-profit partnership spearheaded by the King Ridge Foundation and Russian River Brewing Company in wake of the fires.
