Sunski Sunglasses: Protection With the Pretense

Here’s why we love Sunski glasses. They look great, offer high-quality features and cost half of what you’d pay for another pair of shades. More specifically, for under 60 clams you get polarized lenses, polycarbonate frames and a couple modern, well-desing styles to choose from (including thew new Madronas).

Your first thought, and ours too, is that they must fall apart fairly quickly. Wrong. We’ve been wearing a couple different pairs for months now and we’ve used them on our commute to work, out skiing, and dropped them on the ground several times. No breakage, no problems.

The guys who run Sunski are also super nice fellas. We met them at the Winter Outdoor Retailer in Utah and they were genuine and friendly. Plus they’re part of One Percent for the Planet, which means one percent of their annual sales goes to environmental causes. That might not seem like a lot, but over time one percent adds up.

The Elements

:

  • High-qaulity glasses for half of what you’d pay regularly
  • Nicely designed
  • You should support the company because the founders are nice guys. Really.
